After a six-month probe into the Prism scandal, the European Parliament’s Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs Committee has called for a digital Habeas Corpus to defend Europeans’ right to privacy. But the committee report, supported by the EPP Group, also notes the need to allow anti-terror investigations to ensure security for all Europeans.
