Apply now for EPP Group Research Grant

The 2024 call for applications for the Research Grant Program of the EPP Group in the European Parliament (EPP Group) is now open at the Historical Archives of the European Union.

The grant program aims to support scholars interested in conducting and publishing academic research on the history, role and impact of Christian Democracy, particularly focusing on the EPP Group in the European Parliament and its role in the European integration process.

The grant is aimed at early-stage academicsincluding masters and doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers who completed their doctorate degree no more than three years before the application submission date.

Successful applicants will receive a research grant of €5.000 to cover expenses for carrying out research in the EPP Group's Archives in Florence, Brussels and/or Bonn. The research project must result in publishing an academic article or monograph based on the research. The grant is paid in two instalments, with the second payment contingent upon research publication. Up to three grants will be awarded in 2024.
