City Councillor in Poznan, 1998-2002. Cofounder and chairman of the Civic Platform in Poznan 2001. Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Poland (Sejm), 1991-1993. Chairman of The Independent Students Association (NZS) National Coordination Commission, 1991-1992. MEP since 2004.
