Journalists are invited to attend the EPP Group Industry Days which will delve into the green and digital transition of Europe's industry. The planned European Green Deal is one of the largest and most dramatic market interventions in the history of the European Union. In parallel, industry is going through an intense digitalisation. To maintain European competitiveness, we need to help our industry to make these major transformations. What our industry needs differs greatly between different sectors. The needs of the chemical industry are very different from the needs of the fashion industry. Policy-makers should have a detailed understanding of all these needs. This is even more important now that Russia's war has disrupted our economy and energy supply.
The event will be hosted by Christian Ehler MEP, the EPP Group Spokesman on Industry, Energy and Research, Maria Graça da Carvalho MEP, Deputy Spokeswoman on Industry, Energy and Research, and Tom Berendsen, the Parliament's lead MEP on Europe's Industry Startegy.
