Following today's announcement by the Croatian Government to change the law on the European Arrest Warrant, Manfred Weber MEP, Vice-Chairman of the EPP Group in the European Parliament, said:

“The Croatian Government has finally started listening to reason. The initially non-cooperative behaviour was clearly a false start which has, in the first place, harmed Croatia itself. We are now expecting Croatia to implement the rules regarding the European Arrest Warrant promptly and completely. The Government cannot play for time.”

The EPP Group is by far the largest political group in the European Parliament with 275 Members from 27 Member States.
