Curriculum Vitae
Jessica Polfjärd was born on 27 May 1971. She is a Swedish politician of the Moderate Party and has been a Member of the Swedish Parliament since 2006. Mrs. Polfjärd chaired the Labour Market Committee in 2012-2013. From 2013- 2014, she chaired the Trade Committee of the parliament. Mrs. Polfjärd has also been a Member of the Taxation Committee and the Social Insurance Committee. She also served as the Moderate Party’s group leader in the Swedish Parliament from 2015-2017.
Mrs. Polfjärd is a Member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health, and Food Safety and the Delegation to the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly. In addition, she is a Substitute Member of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs and the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs. Furthermore, she is a Substitute Member of the Delegation for Northern cooperation and for relations with Switzerland and Norway and to the EU-Iceland Joint Parliamentary Committee and the European Economic Area (EEA) Joint Parliamentary Committee.
Mrs. Polfjärd is Vice-Chair of the Delegation to the EU-Mexico Joint Parliamentary Committee.
