Alice Teodorescu Måwe was elected to the European Parliament in 2024 as the representative of the Swedish Christian Democrats (Kristdemokraterna). Born in Bucharest, Romania, in 1984, she moved to Sweden in 1989. In the European Parliament, she serves as a full Member of the Subcommittee on Security and Defence (SEDE) and the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE). Additionally, she is a Substitute Member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) and the Subcommittee on Human Rights (DROI). Prior to her election to the European Parliament, she was active as an editorial writer and a prominent voice in Swedish public debate. She contributed to several major Swedish newspapers, including Svenska Dagbladet, Barometern, and Gotlands Allehanda, and served as the political editor-in-chief at Göteborgs-Posten from 2015 to 2019. Teodorescu Måwe holds a Master of Laws (juristexamen) from Lund University.
