Experts and patients debate about Long Covid in an EPP Group virtual event

The EPP Group debated in an online event with patients from around Europe suffering from Long Covid on how to deal with it. And the Group listened to experts about what causes it and how we can improve the conditions of those who suffer from it.

Patients underlined that the symptoms of Long Covid are varied; but that the primary ones consist of extreme fatigue and a mental fog than can limit daily activities. It also affects mental health.  

EPP Group MEP Maria Walsh said that we need to increase awareness around these effects, and this needs to be done through pan-European action.
