Break the EU migration policy deadlock

The latest increase in migrants arriving in the European Union comes as EU governments fail to agree on a new pact on how to share the task of processing asylum-seekers and repatriating migrants who fail to obtain asylum.
People traffickers are engaged in a lucrative and inhuman trade that victimises migrants and puts pressure on EU frontline countries receiving them.

The EPP Group calls for quick action to end the policy deadlock and to take swift measures to alleviate the situation.
