Europe's small and medium-sized enterprises are the engine of Europe's economy, creating new jobs and growth. SMEs have benefited substantially from the creation of the EU's single market. But as the single market celebrates its twentieth anniversary organisations representing Europe's businesses are calling on the EU to focus on completing it by breaking down persistent national barriers and cutting red tape.
