EU Data Act: Better use of data for people, businesses and emergencies

The European Union can vastly expand the use of data to make Europe more innovative and competitive, say EPP Group MEPs who took the lead on Data Act legislation in the European Parliament. From automakers to farmers to small businesses, 80 percent of industrial data is not used, and the Data Act sets a clear set of rules on how to put that data to use. It also ensures the data is protected.
