EU common defence policy to face external threats
A joint military command in Brussels is an important step towards establishing a European defence force and saving money through interoperability. The EPP Group’s Michael Gahler, spokesman on EU defence, also says the election of Emmanuel Macron as France’s new president is promising for EU defence policy, as he supports all EU countries contributing 2% of GDP.
