Cheaper patents in Europe
The creation of a single European patent will make it possible for innovators to obtain a single patent that will be legally binding in the entire EU. This will reduce processing costs, will cut through red tape and will also provide for a centralised resolution process for judicial disputes. All in all, less work that will lead to more patents.
