At the European Parliament’s latest plenary session, the EPP Group pressed for the ratification of the CETA trade agreement between the EU and Canada, and for support for the Iraqi government in fighting ISIS. It welcomed the plenary’s approval of an EU budget plan that includes the EPP Group's proposed free InterRail pass for European youth on their 18th birthday. And it backed proposals for corporate tax reforms to fight tax avoidance and promote tax fairness.
