Boost long-term private investment to drive Juncker Plan for economy

Legislation for European Long-Term Investment Funds, or ELTIFs, will help attract the private funding needed for the Juncker Plan to spur Europe’s economy. The legislation’s Rapporteur, Alain Lamassoure of the EPP Group, says ELTIFs will help build transport, sustainable energy, public housing and other infrastructure needed across Europe. The European Parliament is to vote on the legislation during the March plenary.
