A tougher EU crackdown on child sexual abuse: laws with teeth
Voluntary EU regulations against online child sexual abuse have failed to stop the ‘’explosion’’ in cases. Those rules should be mandatory and enforced with fines, says EPP Group MEP Javier Zarzalejos, the European Commission, and others.
Apps should be checked for predator misuse risks, and the EU should establish an independent EU Centre on Child Sexual Abuse.
