Born in 1952. Bratislava. 1970 -1975, Faculty of Chemical Technology of the Slovak Technical University. 1977-1983, PhD. studies at STU, Bratislava. Associate professor in major "Chemical Engineering and Process Control", since 1994. Director of the rector`s office of the Slovak Univ. of Technology; 1990 - 91. Head of Department of Process Control of STU, 1994-1997. Head of Department of International Projects of the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology, STU; 2000-2003. Senior research fellow at the Dept. of Chemical Engineering, Budapest University of Technology and Economics; 2003 – 2004. Representative of local self-government district of the Bratislava County – member of Committee for Finance, since 2001; Vice-mayor of the local district Bratislava – Podunajske Biskupice, since 1998. MEP since 2009.
