Update the CAP to keep farming strong
Europe’s farmers need more support and streamlined bureaucracy to stay competitive by reforming the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy, says a Report by EPP Group MEP Herbert Dorfmann, approved on Wednesday by the Agricultural Committee and headed for a plenary vote at the end of the month. The CAP must also respond to evolving needs of consumers and the environment, says the Report.
