Smart Borders: stepped-up security, better ID system
The European Parliament’s Civil Liberties Committee OKs a proposed digital Entry/Exit System for visitors to the EU. It is part of the European Union’s Smart Borders package of measures that will also include the creation of an EU Asylum Agency to help Member States deal with migrant flows.
