High-level European Car Summit and EPP Group Logos

Today, the EPP Group in the European Parliament is organising a high-level car summit, bringing together major industry stakeholders from European car manufacturers and suppliers, as well as Members of the European Parliament to discuss the way forward for the European automotive industry. 

Prior to the event, journalists are invited to a press point with 

  • Manfred Weber MEP, Chairman of the EPP Group
  • Ola Källenius, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Group and President of the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA)
  • Matthias Zink, President of European Association of Automotive Suppliers (CLEPA) and CEO of Schaeffler Chassis & Powertrain


The press point will take place today, 13 May 2026, at 12h10, in the Members Salon 6 of the European Parliament, Ground Floor, SPINELLI building.
