Peace Light shines from Bethlehem to Strasbourg and around the world

Travelling from the eternal flame at Christ’s birthplace in Bethlehem, a Peace Light has arrived at the European Parliament in Strasbourg. With a message of peace, freedom and social cohesion, the flame travels every year around the world, says the EPP Group’s Angelika Winzig. The Austrian MEP relayed the Peace Light from her country, where it arrived from Bethlehem in a decades-old youth-driven charity event.
