European Parliament seat: EPP Group refutes support of any sort for anti-Strasbourg campaign

The EPP Group Chairman, Joseph Daul, has strongly refuted claims of support from his political group for the campaign led by opponents of theStrasbourg seat of the European Parliament.

“The EPP Group flatly denies dishonest allegations by Mr McMillan-Scott and has never, as a political group, given any support of any nature to these fabrications. I demand that he immediately withdraws the EPP Group logo from all documents used in his anti-Strasbourg propaganda. The use of this logo, without authorisation, is an infringement of the legal right that our Group has on its own logo. We will take legal action if it is not withdrawn immediately from all the campaign's promotional material”, he said.
