Valdis Dombrovskis a man of integrity

Commenting on the resignation of the Prime Minister of Latvia, Valdis Dombrovskis, the Chairman of the EPP Group, Joseph Daul MEP, said:

“Taking the decision to resign shows the strength, courage and responsibility of a Statesman. I want to pay tribute to the work of Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis. He has been the longest-serving Prime Minister in Latvia's history. His vision and determination to implement fundamental reforms, supported by the brave Latvian people, managed to change the course of the country from the deepest economic crisis to today the fastest-growing economy in the European Union.

I hope to continue working with such a valuable man and I wish him the best of success in his future projects.”
