EU-US Free Trade Agreement needs strong political will to overcome obstacles

An EU-US Free Trade Agreement could generate millions of jobs a year, if both sides find the political will to overcome the obstacles, says EPP Group MEP Daniel Caspary. Sticking points include subsidies and non-tariff barriers. The European Parliament also aims to maintain consumer and environmental protection.
