Born in 1964. Ile de France, France. Lecturer in medicine, Paris. Doctor of science (MD, PhD). Head of the emergency service at Beaujon university hospital, Paris Hospitals Authority. Mayor (UMP) for La Garenne-Colombes (Paris) since 2001. National secretary of the UMP with responsibility for professional associations. Member of the National Alzheimer’s Commission; considered to be one of the Presidential Majority’s leading experts in the field of health, disability and dependency. Vice-President of the Hauts-de-Seine Departmental Council (2004-2009). Reserve officer in the armed forces health service. Recently served in Afghanistan with NATO. MEP since 2009.
