Mayor (UMP) for La Garenne-Colombes (Paris) since 2001. National secretary of the UMP with responsibility for professional associations. Member of the National Alzheimer’s Commission; considered to be one of the Presidential Majority’s leading experts in the field of health, disability and dependency. Vice-President of the Hauts-de-Seine Departmental Council (2004-2009). Reserve officer in the armed forces health service. Recently served in Afghanistan with NATO. MEP since 2009.
