Improving work-life balance across the EU

A new law that will help people improve their work-life balance across the European Union is on track to be approved in the European Parliament in March and to be in place by 2022.

The European Parliament’s Employment (EMPL) Committee has backed an agreement on work-life balance between the Parliament and EU Member States.

EPP Group MEP David Casa (EMPL Committee) has been shepherding the bill through the law-making process right from the start. EPP Group MEP Agnieszka Kozłowska-Rajewicz was the Rapporteur for the Women's Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM) Committee, which also backed the agreement.
