EPP Group, strongest in Parliament, picks leaders for new term

In its first meeting since the European elections, the EPP Group unanimously re-elected Manfred Weber as its Chairman and chose its 10 Vice-Chairs. Weber says the Group - the strongest force in Parliament - is ready to negotiate with other groups to form a working coalition. Priorities include strengthening the social market economy and creating jobs, and in a way that is friendly to the environment.
