Born in 1962 in Viana do Castelo. Lawyer with a postgraduate degree in Environmental Law and currently preparing a PhD thesis in International Public Law at the University of Cáceres. President and Electoral Coordinator of Partido da Terra-MPT (2014- ). Secretary-General and member of the MPT National Political Council (2009-2011). Legal and political advisor to Partido da Terra - MPT’s political group, Lisbon Municipal Assembly (2012-2014). Legal advisor in the International Relations Office at the Department of Social Welfare of the Municipality of Lisbon (1992-2002). MEP since 2014.
