Couple speedy Brexit with stepped-up EU reforms

At an extraordinary meeting of the European Parliament, the EPP Group joined with other major Groups to approve a Resolution calling for a rapid UK exit from the EU after last week’s Brexit referendum. The Resolution also calls for stepped-up reforms to respond to Europeans' demands for social justice, jobs and growth. EPP Group Chair Manfred Weber says a speedy Brexit can avoid a long period of “poisonous insecurity” for the EU and the UK.
