New EU directive to reinforce online security for companies and citizens
The Internal Market and Consumer Protection committee has passed a draft directive which enumerates a number of measures to ensure a higher level of security online and in different information systems. This directive aims to reinstate consumer trust in the internet and in this way, drive the single market of the European Union.
