EP Commissioner Hearings: Dubravka Šuica showed her commitment to democracy
Dubravka Šuica impressed in her European Parliament hearing as she dealt with a range of questions from MEPs testing her aptitude to be the Commissioner for Democracy and Demography in the next European Commission.
MEP Danuta Hübner, EPP Group Coordinator in the Committee on Constitutional Affairs, sees Ms Šuica as being the right person and believes that she can be very convincing in reaching out to people and telling them about Europe and bringing Europe closer to the people.
