Strong EU involvement in intercultural dialogue would lead to more peace in the world
Following the visit of spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to the European Parliament on 21 April, Alojz Peterle MEP, co-host of the event, said:
“Sri Sri has helped to transform the lives of many, without changing their spiritual identity. He has been teaching how to live in peace through applying yoga techniques that enhance the quality of one's mind and life. I consider his efforts as an authentic contribution towards achieving more peace in the world."
"Sri Sri's presence in the European Parliament has been a true inspiration for European leaders to strongly engage in more intercultural dialogue that would lead towards non-violent societies."
