EPP Group to discuss its priorities for 2019-2024 in San Sebastián (Spain)

New EPP Group members will meet next week (11-14 June) in San Sebastián, together with international leaders and former members of the Group, to analyse the result of the European elections and to debate its priorities for the upcoming parliamentary term 2019-2024.

The ongoing negotiations for the main positions in the EU institutions will also be an important  issue on the agenda.

Chairman of the EPP Group, Manfred Weber, and Vice-Chairman of the EPP Group, Esteban González Pons, will lead the debates on these topics.

Amongst others, Jean-Claude Juncker, the president of the European Commission; Antonio Tajani, the president of the European Parliament; Pablo Casado, the president of Partido Popular; Joseph Daul, the EPP President; and the two negotiators of the EPP for the distribution of key EU posts: the Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenković and the Prime Minister of Latvia, Krišjānis Kariņš will all participate.

The EPP Group will express its support to Manfred Weber for the post of president of the European Commission, taking into account the victory in the last European elections.
