EPP Group is pro-vaccination

The EPP Group promotes vaccination against COVID-19 in Europe and busts anti-vaccination disinformation. EPP Group Chairman Manfred Weber MEP supports an initiative by the youth of the EPP Party (YEPP) calling for greater efforts to combat vaccine hesitancy.

"As political leaders, we owe it to our scientists and researchers to stand up to the pandemic of disinformation that seeks to undermine their efforts and cast doubt among the population. The European People’s Party will lead in this fight in defence of science and evidence-based policy", writes Lídia Perreira MEP and President of YEPP in a letter co-signed by Weber and EPP Party President Donald Tusk.
