Born in Milan on 15 March 1962, Stefano Maullu’s career began in the Zone Council (in 1993). From there he went to the City Council in Milan as Chairman of the Urban Planning Commission. From 2000 he was elected in the Lombardy Region – both as Regional Councillor and as Regional Minister in charge of Social Protection, Police and Commerce (2008-2012). Between 2012 and 2014 he was CEO with responsibility for Institutional Relations with local, regional and national authorities for private companies, among other things. In 2014 he was nominated to the European Parliament for Forza Italia in the North-West constituency. MEP since 2015.
