Além disso, ocupa-se de questões como as medidas de saúde e segurança no local de trabalho, a política de formação profissional, incluindo as qualificações profissionais, a livre circulação de trabalhadores e pensionistas e todas as formas de discriminação no local de trabalho e no mercado de trabalho, exceto a discriminação com base no género, uma vez que esta se insere no âmbito de competência da Comissão dos Direitos da Mulher.
