Lisbon Treaty: The EPP Group welcomes the signature promised by the Polish President. Joseph Daul MEP, Chairman of the EPP Group

"I welcome the decision by the Polish Presidency on the signature of the Lisbon Treaty by President Lech Kaczynski on Saturday 10 October", said Joseph Daul, Chairman of the EPP Group in the European Parliament.

"In the name of my parliamentary Group, I appeal once again to the Czech President, whose Parliament has already ratified the Treaty, that he proceeds with the official signature as soon as possible so that Europe can finally act in a clear institutional context", concluded Daul.
