An exhibition "Poznań in June 1956 - Rebellious City" about military suppression of popular uprising against the communist regime in Poland in June 1956 was launched in the European Parliament under sponsorship of Filip Kaczmarek MEP (EPP-ED, Poland) and of Hungarian delegation of the EPP-ED Group.

Grzegorz Ganowicz, Chairman of the Poznan City Council opened the exhibition of photographs from the uprising in the European Parliament, 3rd floor of ASP building (Bar Space), on Tuesday 27 June 2006 at 12.30 p.m.
