Bogovič o čisti energiji

Za uresničitev čiste energije potrebujemo aktivno vključitev državljanov, poudarja Bogovič.

Strasbourg, 17. januar 2018 (SLS/ELS) - Evropski poslanci so ta teden razpravljali o paketu poročil, ki teži k dosegi čistejše energije, danes pa bodo med drugim glasovali še o mandatu za začetek pogajanj Evropskega parlamenta s Svetom. Glavni cilj je porabo energije do leta 2030 zmanjšati za 40 % glede na vrednosti iz leta 2005, delež obnovljivih virov pa povečati s 27 % na 35 %.

"Zaradi skrbi za okolje smo v Pariški sporazum zapisali, da bomo na tem področju naredili ambiciozne premike naprej. In v paketu čiste energije, kjer govorimo o obnovljivih virih, o varčevanju z energijo, in upravljanju energetske unije, delamo za to, da bi te premike dosegli kar se da hitro," je danes v Strasbourgu dejal Franc Bogovič, evropski poslanec.

Bogovič je prepričan, da je prihodnost "v dogovoru, ki je oboje, tako realističen kot ambiciozen." "Brez finančnih instrumentov, s katerimi bomo podpirali inovacije, raziskave v tej smeri, ne bomo prišli daleč", poudarja.

"Da bi ta projekt čiste energije v resnici zaživel, moramo doseči aktivno vključitev državljanov, občin, gospodarstva. V tem paketu pa vidim tudi priložnost za podeželje, kjer imamo potencial za pridobivanje sončne energije, možnosti za vetrne elektrarne, ustvarjamo biomaso, tako v gozdovih kot na njivah. V  tem moramo iskati priložnosti za uresničitev tega ambicioznega in realističnega cilja in pripomoči k temu, da čista energija res zaživi", je zaključil Bogovič.
