Born in 1960. Sud-Est, France. Administrator,then manager,for the professional agricultural organisations for Savoie (1981-2002). Adviser on mountain areas and the environment (2002-2004), on sustainable development (2004),then special adviser (2007-2009) to the Agriculture Minister.Adviser to the Minister for the Economy on sustainable development (2004-2005). Special adviser (2005) and Inspector General for Agriculture (since Feb.2007) at the Inspectorate General for Agriculture. Member of Chambéry Municipal Council since 1983. Member (1985-1998) and Vice-President of Savoie General Council (1994-1998). Chair of the Committee for the Rhone-Mediterranean basin of the water agency since 2008. President of the Agreement on the catching area for Lake Bourget (since 1999). Member of the bureau of Chambéry Urban Council (since 2001). President of the inter-union committee for the rehabilitation of Lake Bourget (since 2008). Knight of the National Order of Merit. Officer of the Order of Agricultural Merit. MEP since 2009.
