Tā risina politisko dialogu divpusēji ar attīstības valstīm un attiecīgajās starptautiskajās organizācijās un parlamentu sadarbības forumos, tā ir atbildīga par palīdzību jaunattīstības valstīm un sadarbības līgumiem ar tām un veicina demokrātisko vērtību, labas valsts pārvaldes un cilvēktiesību ievērošanu jaunattīstības valstīs. Tā aktīvi iesaistās Eiropas Savienības un Āfrikas, Karību jūras reģiona un Klusā okeāna valstu Apvienotās parlamentārajā asamblejas darbā.
