At the European Parliament’s latest plenary, EU leaders stressed that the EU will press on with its environmental commitments despite the US decision to withdraw from the Paris climate deal. Also related to climate change, MEPs debated how the EU will cut greenhouse gas emissions and gave their go ahead to a clearer energy efficiency labelling system and a public database. MEPs also celebrated 30 years of success of the Erasmus student exchange programme with former Erasmus students.
