También aborda cuestiones como la salud y las medidas de seguridad en el lugar de trabajo, la política de formación profesional, incluidas las cualificaciones profesionales, la libre circulación de trabajadores y pensionistas, y todas las formas de discriminación en el lugar de trabajo y en el mercado laboral, salvo las que se produzcan por motivos de género, que son competencia de la Comisión de Derechos de la Mujer e Igualdad de Género.
