'Atomium Culture' and President Giscard d'Estaing to be welcomed in the European Parliament. Joseph Daul MEP, Chairman of the EPP Group, and Gunnar Hökmark MEP

On 27 November 2009, President Valéry Giscard d'Estaing will come back to the European Parliament in Brussels to publicly present 'Atomium Culture' to Europe.

Atomium Culture brings together some of the most authoritative European universities, newspapers and businesses in the first permanent platform for European excellence for a reliable, transparent, and efficient area for the dissemination and exchange of new knowledge.

An innovative solution to concretely pursuing a new vision of Europe based on the most forward-looking ideas from research, industry and media.

The Honorary President Mr Valéry Giscard d'Estaing and the President Mr Michelangelo Baracchi Bonvicini will open the conference at 10:15 in
Room P3C050.

MEPs Joseph Daul and Gunnar Hökmark host the event.

A press conference will take place in the Anna Politkovskaya Room - PHS 0A50 - from 13:15 to 13.45, following the morning Opening Session.

Press representatives are invited to be present also in the Opening Session of the Conference.
