EPP-ED TV launches new website

As from today, the EPP-ED TV of the Group of the European People's Party and European Democrats in the European Parliament will broadcast videos and live streaming programmes via its new site www.epp-ed.tv, making access easier for the public.

EPP-ED TV is one of the ways the Group spreads its political message to large audiences via the internet.

The primary role of EPP-ED TV is to inform its audience about the major events and activities of the European Parliament and the contribution of the EPP-ED Group to Europe's values, prosperity, security, and solidarity.

EPP-ED TV first broadcast via the internet in June 2007. Since then, it has produced more than 130 videos covering a variety of key European and world issues, now available on this new site. Most of the videos are available in English, but soon all new productions will be available in three or four languages.

The EPP-ED TV team consists of experienced staff with sound electronic media backgrounds. EPP-ED TV has its own filming and picture editing facilities and uses the services of experienced TV technicians. It is also supported by skilful internet and information technology teams who ensure the high quality of videos and programmes on the internet.
