Building a global climate change alliance

Swedish MEP Anders Wijkman is rapporteur of a report on a global alliance against climate change. The European Union will form an alliance with more than 50 developing countries, most of them in Africa. |
| A budget of 50 million euros is proposed for the next few years, with the purpose of giving these countries the opportunity to adjust to climate change. Mr Wijkman would like to see a bigger contribution from the EU and increased co-ordination between all parties.
