Theme of the day of 21 December 2006

Seven MEPs from the EP-Pakistan Interparliamentary Delegation visited Pakistan on 15-21 December 2006. The EPP-ED Group is represented on the visit by EP Vice-President Edward McMillan Scott MEP and James Nicholson MEP (both from the United Kingdom). They met Pakistani MPs, national and regional government ministers, representatives of civil society and visited EU funded projects. The MEPs also visited the areas which were hit by an earthquake in October last year.
